Our clients were in the process of creating a living space in their partially finished basement. They wanted to create a stylish and functional area surrounding their TV. Shiplap is a very “hot look” at the moment and so we decided to shiplap the area where the flat screen TV would reside. Along with this we built floating shelves out of knotty alder for the corner and storage with a matching knotty alder flip up bench seat. Now this space is a true area to relax at the end of the day or for playtime with the kids!
