Wheatland Custom Cabinetry & Woodwork has been designing and building custom cabinetry and woodwork throughout the Chicagoland area since 1995. We focus on creating a space that fits your needs, style, and budget. With our in-house designing software and our 20+ years of designing spaces, we can give you a visual representation of how your space will look along with material samples that you can see and touch in person. We are passionate for woodwork, preservation, and most importantly, making our customer’s dreams a reality through custom cabinetry. We look forward to designing and building cabinetry for your next project.

My wife found Wheatland CC on Houzz so I thought it fitting to write a review given the excellent service from Brent, Tyler and Liz. We hired Wheatland to design, build and install a custom bookshelf/entertainment system for our living room. Liz helped greatly with the design. There was a lot of back and forth until we could find a solution that met our family’s needs. The build was very fast and the install took 2.5 days. They were very clean, organized and were very professional. We expect to use Wheatland again for future projects and have recommended them to our friends. Overall work product is exceptional. We are very pleased with the final result!
I can’t say enough about the quality of work received from Wheatland Cabinetry. All trim, kitchen cabinets, custom entertainment centers, customs ceilings, custom shelving and many little projects were all done by Wheatland Cabinetry. People rave about the woodwork in my home when they come over. There was never any problems with customer service or communication – they were a pleasure to work with and have in my home. Tyler Wheatland and his team finished my kitchen on time and it’s beautiful! Workmanship is impeccable! Tyler is respectful of my time, returns my calls and appreciates that the work-space is still my home. They clean up each day and stay with the job until it’s done. Definitely recommend!
Tyler was very pleasant to work with and integrated my original ideas for the projects (basement bar and mudroom), with his professional suggestions and ideas. We were thrilled with how both projects turned out and with the quality of his workmanship. His cabinetry is beautiful as well as functional (for my family of 6). I especially love the color of stain he was able to customize for the mudroom lockers/drawers. He is honest and reliable, and his prices are fair. I would highly recommend him.
We used Wheatland Custom Cabinetry and Woodwork (and the contractor partner, Hyland Homes) to update our kitchen and living room. We highly recommend them and will use them again for future renovations! Using saved pictures and examples of our style from our Houzz profile, Brent, Tyler, and their team were able to turn them into our dream kitchen and living room…no interior designer needed! Pricing was on point with other bids and kept us within budget throughout the process when new costs came up. Their team was polite and courteous and did their best to work with our schedules, especially when it came to keeping quiet during our toddler’s late morning naps. And above all, excellent quality and craftsmanship!
Tyler did on a beautiful job on the engineering & construction of our wood floors, 20 ft. Oak bar, stained oak ceiling, can & sconce lighting, bathroom with glass block, 1500 sq. ft. of new basement construction, all electrical plus generator. Solid work.
