Modern Shaker Kitchen Island in Clarendon Hills, Illinois

We were contracted to design and build a kitchen island for a modern house in Clarendon Hills. The need was that it should accommodate a microwave, have shaker style doors and drawer fronts, space for seating, and storage on the front and the back. We topped the island with a maple butcher block countertop for that modern look.
