Our clients were looking for a casual eating area adjacent to the kitchen that would accommodate a smaller table. The overall look and feel of their home was modern and mid century. They loved the look and feel a natural wood lends itself to a space and wanted something that would marry it to what we were also doing in their kitchen. We created a knotty alder floating bench finished with a low sheen clear coat that matched with the floating shelves we completed in the kitchen remodel.
