Our Glen Ellyn clients hired us to remodel the fireplace surround and add flanking cabinets and bookshelves in their family room. Previously they had a red brick surround that only protruded from the wall a couple of inches. They were wanting an updated look that would always be timeless, as well as some lit open shelving. We designed the space with stacked stone on the fireplace surround, an updated black firebox, and flanking inset cabinetry.
